Tri-Tip in the Crock Pot


Tri-tip is delicious! Apparently it is a West Coast thing and the only place we’ve been able to find it locally is The Fresh Market in Normal.

2-3 lbs. tri-tip
1/2 c. beef broth
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 packet dry Italian dressing mix
Generous sprinkling of garlic salt
1 Tbsp. ground mustard
2-4 dashes hot sauce
Drizzle of olive oil

Before adding the tri-tip, mix the broth and Worcestershire together then put the meat in the crock pot. Generously sprinkle the meat with garlic salt and ground mustard, then sprinkle half the packet of dry Italian dressing mix all over. Add a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Cook on low for 8 hours. Slice/shred the meat and serve!
